Service on much of the line was initially suspended just before 12:30 p.m. The Harlem Line has stops in Eastern Dutchess County, including Wassaic, Tenmile River, Dover Plains, Harlem Valley-Wingdale, Appalachian Trail and Pawling. POWER OUTAGES: Residents, businesses without power as wind howls Harlem Line tickets were being cross-honored on the New Haven and Hudson lines. Southbound, there was no service from Hawthorne and Valhalla on Monday night. Customers looking for southbound service from/to Hawthorne and Valhalla had to go to Pleasantville or North White Plains. Customers traveling southbound from Southeast who needed to travel to Hawthorne and Valhalla had to take train service to North White Plains for northbound service to those stations. Southeast/Wassaic-bound trains departed Grand Central at 7:54, 8:52, 9:52 and 11:04 p.m. Hourly service to Southeast/Wassaic was in effect beginning at 7:54 p.m. to allow for track repair work to occur. Departing Grand Central, several trains were canceled and combined. Only one of two tracks was back in service in the vicinity of North White Plains and Pleasantville on Monday night while crews made repairs. Metro-North has not reported any delays early Tuesday. Trains traveling from Grand Central to Wassaic are back on track after downed trees were cleared at several locations. MOUNT PLEASANT - Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line service is back on schedule after Monday morning's wind caused a derailment in the early afternoon.
